Accumar maintains a high level of control over the manufacturing process. The company designs and fabricates most of the essential mechanical components in-house, ensuring quality and precision. This includes the gondolas, hoists, safety systems such as gate interlocks and speed governors, and the robust structural steel framework. Even the woodwork for the gondolas and deck prefabrication is skillfully handled within their own workshop.
This meticulous in-house production allows Accumar to seamlessly integrate custom-designed components with carefully selected standard electrical and mechanical parts. This unique approach results in lift systems that operate efficiently, reliably, and most importantly, with the highest safety standards. Furthermore, recognizing the diverse needs of each project, every Accumar cable and track lift is meticulously handcrafted and custom-built to perfectly suit its specific location and intended use.
Who We Are
The story of Accumar begins in the early 1980s with a partnership that focused on yacht design and construction, with the occasional tram system worked into the schedule. However, the challenge of creating reliable cable lifts for high-bank waterfront properties captivated their attention. This early innovation eventually led to the incorporation of Accumar in 1988, with cable and track lift systems becoming the cornerstone of their business.
